stop useful, and loved, things being thrown away
It's amazing the difference a bit of TLC can make to that item that otherwise looks unpromising. We return many things refreshed to their loving homes and find new homes for many other things. We accept donations of dolls and toys in any condition.
repair, reuse, recycle, reclaim and refurbish
We use reclaimed and recycled materials wherever possible and appropriate. Many of our materials are sourced from local charity shops such as The Sewing Basket at Newington.
take inspiration from the past to make beautiful things for the future
We find inspiration in the work of designers and makers both past and present. All our creations are bespoke and made individually for each doll or toy.
think locally
We source our materials as close to home as possible. We always use local and Australian suppliers where possible. We also offer free local pick up and delivery.
keep traditional skills alive
Our ancestors were makers and creators. They have passed down to us many useful skills.
support the community
We support local charities by sourcing materials from them, and by donating rescued and refurbished dolls and toys.
keep prices reasonable
Because we use reclaimed materials whenever possible we can keep our prices reasonable. We can complete repairs to a budget. We don't do any work beyond what is essential or requested.
